According to the press service, after the ceremony of lighting the main Christmas tree of the country in Ala-Too Square and the festive concert, the municipal enterprise "Tazhalyk" collected and removed one ton of garbage.
For comparison: in 2023, after similar events, about 4 tons were removed, and in 2024 — 2.5 tons. This means that the amount of waste left after the holiday decreased by 60% compared to last year, indicating an improvement in the behavior of both local residents and guests of the capital, the message notes.
The press service also reports that "Tazhalyk" provided sanitary support for the event at a high level. All employees and special services of the enterprise were on site, operating in an enhanced mode until the holiday was fully concluded. Cleaning of the area was carried out both during the festivities and after their completion.
