Nelly Buyuklyanova has been elected as the president of the Tennis Federation of Kyrgyzstan, as reported by the country's sports ministry.
Previously, this position was held by Nurdin Medetov, who recently resigned.
After her appointment, Buyuklyanova emphasized the key tasks facing the federation. Among the priorities are the popularization of tennis across all regions of Kyrgyzstan and ensuring its accessibility to the general public.
She stressed: "Sport should be accessible to everyone, regardless of their place of residence, age, or social status. It is important to develop infrastructure, which will be one of the main directions of our work."
Additionally, according to the new head of the federation, a significant aspect of her activities will be improving athlete training and enhancing the quality of the training process.
