This information was provided by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Ismanov became a figure in a criminal case concerning the illegal distribution of land plots in the village of Kok-Zhar, specifically in contour No. 172. Currently, the investigation is checking the details of the decisions made, which, according to law enforcement agencies, led to the unlawful withdrawal of state lands from circulation.

Since November 2022, Samat Ismanov has held the position of Deputy Plenipotentiary Representative of the President, but last week he submitted his resignation.

It is worth noting that on August 6, there was an incident when several people illegally blocked the road at the intersection of Akhunbaev and Dostoevsky streets. A case was opened under Article 279 "Illegal Blocking of Roads," during which five people were detained, and another 17 were held accountable for disobeying lawful demands of law enforcement officers. Local residents from Kok-Zhar also held protests against the demolition of their homes.

According to the mayor's office, out of 1,089 checked land plots in contour No. 172, 209 are completed residential houses, 85 are foundations, 78 are unfinished buildings, and 704 are vacant. Out of 385 structures, 149 may be amnestied, however, 236 objects have been recognized as illegal and are subject to demolition.

This situation has caused a wave of discontent among local residents, who assert that they purchased land and built their homes legally, receiving utility services and expecting the legalization of their property.

During the investigative activities, six citizens voluntarily returned land plots totaling 6 hectares to the state, valued at 150 million soms, transferring them to the balance of the State Agency for Management of State Property.
