On December 29, 2025, the long-awaited premiere of the military-historical television series "Өрт кечкен сөйкө" will take place at the capital's cinema "Manas." This project is the first of its kind in Kyrgyz cinema. This was reported by the Ministry of Culture.

According to information from the ministry, the creation of the series was made possible through the efforts of the creative association "Kyrgyzserial" and with the support of the Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports, and Youth Policy, as well as the Ministry of Defense and the Department of Cinema.
The series consists of eight episodes, each lasting 50 minutes. It artistically reveals the feats and patriotism of 1,395 Kyrgyz girls who voluntarily went to the front during World War II, as well as the exploits of Kyrgyz and Soviet soldiers.

The plot is based on real events and the fates of true heroes, conveyed through artistic generalization. The series showcases the life paths of warrior girls from different regions of Kyrgyzstan, including the Hero of the Soviet Union, pilot Evdokia Paskova (Karakol), surgeon Rafa Aydarbekova (Chui region), and anti-aircraft gunner Tamara Baltabaeva, as well as the images of radio operators, snipers, and medics who served at the front.

It also features the image of a young Panfilov soldier who became a Hero of the Kyrgyz Republic and the people's poet Sooronbai Jusuyev, as well as pilot Abdykerim Karmysakov, who displayed courage and heroism on the battlefield.

The main goal of the project is to remember the heavy consequences of war and to glorify the values of peace, national unity, and patriotism, which is especially important for educating the younger generation.
