On November 17, the premiere of the play "Women Who Went Through War" is scheduled, which will be presented by the dance theater "PROдвижение" under the direction of Yevgeny Prokopenko, a distinguished worker of culture and education. This was reported by the university's press service.

At the heart of the production is the significant contribution of women from Kyrgyzstan to the victory over fascism during the Great Patriotic War. It tells the story of mothers, sisters, nurses, and women workers on the home front, whose resilience and courage became part of the great feat of the people.

The plot of the play skillfully combines fragments of Chinghiz Aitmatov's novella "Mother's Field" and poems dedicated to the heroism of Toktogul Abdybasarova — a woman who saved children from besieged Leningrad and found them shelter in the Issyk-Kul region. The music of the play includes songs from the war years.
