The SCO Model serves as an educational platform that simulates the work of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. Participants representing SCO member states will engage in formal sessions, discussions, informal consultations, and the development of resolutions on relevant international issues. The event will gather active youth, students, and representatives of universities, as well as youth organizations wishing to deepen their knowledge in the fields of international relations, diplomacy, and regional cooperation. The main goal of this event is to develop diplomatic thinking, leadership skills, public speaking abilities, and teamwork among young people.
At the official opening of the event, the following speakers will take the stage:
- Marat Tagaev, Deputy Minister of Culture, Information, and Youth Policy;
- Almaz Bukalaev, National Coordinator of the SCO from Kyrgyzstan;
- Zhakshylyk Beknazarov, Chairman of the public association "Youth Movement of Kyrgyzstan";
- Cholpon Shaikova, Director of the State Institution "Cultural Integration Center of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization".
After the opening ceremony, participants will move on to the sessions of the SCO Model, where there will be speeches by delegates, discussions of the agenda, as well as the preparation and approval of draft resolutions in accordance with the established regulations.
