As the New Year holidays approach, there is an active spread of fraudulent links in messengers and social networks, disguised as congratulations, calls to participate in giveaways, and gifts. This information comes from the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

It is reported that scammers send messages promising monetary rewards, bonuses, or gifts from government organizations, banks, or popular personalities. When clicking on such links, citizens are asked to provide personal data, bank details, or confirmation codes, which are then used to steal money and hack accounts.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs strongly advises citizens to remain vigilant. Do not click on suspicious links or share personal information, even if the message seems official or comes from a familiar contact.
If you have any suspicions regarding the leakage of personal data or fraudulent activities, you should immediately contact the internal affairs authorities at the number 102.
