At the Kyrgyz-Uzbek border, at the veterinary control point "Dostuk," a shipment containing 22 tons of salt for livestock, coming from Uzbekistan, was stopped. The situation was commented on by the Ministry of Water Management and Agriculture of Kyrgyzstan.

According to the ministry, during an inspection carried out by specialists from the veterinary control point, violations of veterinary and sanitary standards established by the Eurasian Economic Union were identified. In particular, the documents accompanying the shipment were found to be non-compliant with the requirements.

As a result of the inspection, a report was drawn up for the return of the shipment, and the goods were sent back through the border control point "Dostuk."
