The Ministry of Labor has clarified the conditions and necessary documents for receiving benefits
The Ministry of Labor, Social Protection, and Migration has announced the rules regarding the monthly benefits for residents of hard-to-reach and high-altitude areas. This benefit, called "Assistance to Residents of High Mountain Areas," is intended for families with children.
Families living in high-altitude and hard-to-reach areas, including some border villages with special status, are eligible for this payment. The benefit is provided for the third and subsequent children, as well as for children under three years old, if they live with their parents.
It is important to note that the family's income is not a criterion for receiving the benefit — anyone who meets the residency conditions is entitled to the payment.
To apply for the benefit, one must contact the territorial office of the Ministry of Labor at their place of residence. Required documents include the parents' passports, children's birth certificates, and proof of the family's registration in a high-altitude area. If the children were born abroad, documents confirming legal residence in Kyrgyzstan must be provided.
Payments may be suspended if the family moves from a high-altitude area, the child reaches the age of three, passes away, is under full state care, or if it is established that the benefit was received illegally. Additionally, payments cease if the family permanently moves abroad.
The benefit is accrued from the first day of the month following the submission of the application. For example, if the documents were submitted in January, payments will begin in February.
The Ministry of Labor also reminds that the place of residence must match the data in the state registers. If there is no registration, one must contact the village council for temporary registration.
Furthermore, the ministry continues to clarify information about children born outside the country.
