According to Mukambetov, if salaries increase, so do the contributions. In this regard, based on data from the State Tax Service, the corresponding recalculation is carried out. "We have no other option; we rely on actual receipts," he noted.
Moreover, he pointed out the opinion of many citizens that the pension assignment system is unfair, as some receive high payments while others receive less, even though they are all retirees."Some people do not make contributions, believing that the state is obliged to provide them with a pension. However, they forget that the payments are formed from the contributions of other citizens. It is important to understand this: money does not appear out of nowhere! Those who earn more contribute more, and accordingly, the difference in pensions becomes obvious. One should not think that the state owes you something. You must take care of your own pension. Therefore, I advise young people: before taking a job, clarify whether social contributions are being made there. Do not postpone this question until retirement," added the representative of the Social Fund.
Mukambetov also noted that the amount of salaries and the minimum subsistence level is not set by the Social Fund.
He reminded that a citizen does not receive all the contributions made in a lump sum upon retirement: payments are distributed monthly based on the average life expectancy in the country.
