Previously, the authorities initiated the dismantling of structures deemed illegal. However, the reaction from residents, who began recording video appeals to the authorities, was significant. The eviction of people and the destruction of homes during the winter period sparked a wave of discontent on social media.
Orunbekov noted that "the video recordings and citizens' appeals reached the president." In this regard, Japarov ordered the suspension of house demolitions until the end of winter if people are living in those houses.
Mayor Aibek Junushaliev also stated that houses with residents will not be demolished. Instead, only illegally poured foundations, structures with unfinished walls, and non-residential buildings will be dismantled.
