The ministry reports an increase in control over the quality of atmospheric air in the country.
The Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision reported that in 2025, 202 fines were recorded for vehicle owners, with a total amount exceeding 3.7 million soms for exceeding emission standards.
As stated in the ministry's report, new measures have been introduced in the country to monitor the state of atmospheric air and ensure compliance with environmental standards.
In addition to monitoring vehicles, a ban has been imposed on the import, sale, storage, and use of coal with a fraction of 0-13 mm in the Chuy region and Bishkek. This restriction does not apply to organizations engaged in the production of thermal energy. Programs for the gasification of the population are also being implemented, including the provision of preferential loans to homeowners of up to 150,000 soms at an interest rate of 3% per annum (the previous rate was 8%). Thanks to these measures, more than 51,000 households have been connected to gas supply.
