Kyrgyz citizens are advised to check for entry bans in advance and adhere to registration deadlines.
The Ministry of Labor, Social Security, and Migration has reminded about important aspects concerning the departure of citizens of Kyrgyzstan to the Russian Federation for work.
Before heading to Russia, the agency recommends checking for any entry bans using the official website of the Employment Center for Citizens Abroad under the Ministry of Labor of the KR — migrant.kg.
In order to legally stay and work in Russia, Kyrgyz citizens must complete a number of mandatory procedures:
- within 30 days after arrival, undergo a medical examination, fingerprint registration, and photography;
- within 30 days, register for migration accounting at the place of temporary residence. For those who came to work in Moscow and the Moscow region, registration is done through the "Amina" app. Family members are registered according to general rules;
- sign a labor or civil law contract;
- within 90 days, extend the temporary stay based on the labor or civil law contract, obtaining the appropriate mark in the migration card at the migration authorities.
