From November 1, 2025, to January 23, 2026, a total of 151,249 connections to the self-ban on lending service were registered through the mobile application "Tündük," according to data from the press service of the National Bank.

As a reminder, this mechanism was implemented in Kyrgyzstan starting November 1 of last year. Its main goal is to reduce the number of fraudulent activities and protect citizens from the illegal issuance of loans without their consent.

Citizens can independently set or cancel the self-ban through the state electronic services portal, and this information is automatically sent to the selected credit bureaus.

Financial institutions are required to check for the presence of a self-ban and must refuse to provide credit if such a ban is in place.

Amendments to the legislation that introduce this mechanism were signed by the president in the summer of 2025.
