In Kyrgyzstan, a large-scale reform concerning civil status acts has begun. This information was announced at a press conference organized by the "Kabar" agency.
Now citizens can receive civil registry certificates in electronic format through the "Tündük" application and the electronic services portal.
From April 14 in Bishkek and Osh, and from May 1 across the country, the issuance of paper documents duplicating data from the "Tündük" system will cease. Exceptions are made for people over 50 years old, representatives of socially vulnerable groups, and in cases where documents are required abroad.
Updated Certificates
New samples for five types of documents have been approved:
- birth certificate,
- marriage certificate,
- divorce certificate,
- name change certificate,
- death certificate.
