
The mayor of Bishkek held a meeting with residents of the city's new territories
The open meeting of Bishkek Mayor Aibek Junushaliev with residents of recently annexed districts took place at Secondary School No. 43 in the Ak-Bata residential area. This information was provided by the press service of the mayor's office.
Residents from such residential areas as MTF-2, Nur-Kojo, Ak-Bata, Ak-Zhar, Lebedinovka, Alamudun, Lower Ala-Archa, and 305-MAB participated in the event.
Important issues concerning water supply, sewage, road conditions, and the lack of public transport were discussed. The head of the Transport Department, Ulanbek Beyshenbaev, reported that 8-meter buses will only be put into operation after the completion of road infrastructure repairs.
According to the press service, the mayor emphasized that road work will not be carried out until the issues with water supply and sewage are resolved. He also announced information about the development program for new districts until 2030, which was developed at the request of the President. The total cost of the program is about 9 billion soms, of which 2.5-3 billion soms have already been allocated for 2025.
In addition, questions regarding land plots were raised. Aibek Junushaliev stated that during the road construction process, illegally installed economic objects and new foundations will be dismantled; however, previously identified illegal residential houses will not be demolished, as reported by the press service.
