Bishkek City Hall: Roads in New Areas Will Not Be Repaired Until Water Supply and Sewerage Issues Are Resolved

Repair work on the roads of the new territories annexed to the Sverdlovsk district will not begin until the issues related to water supply and sewage are fully resolved. This was announced by the mayor of Bishkek, Aibek Junushaliev, at a meeting with residents of several residential areas and new buildings.

According to the mayor, it is essential to address the problems with engineering systems first, and only after that can improvements to the road infrastructure begin.

At the meeting, residents raised various issues related to the social sphere and infrastructure, including problems with water supply, road conditions, sewage, and a lack of public transport.
