The mayor instructed to expedite the process of purchasing and installing GPS trackers on all municipal buses. According to him, this will allow for constant monitoring of vehicle movements and a quick response to violations.
In addition, the city council plans to conduct timing of routes to record actual movement intervals and provide the public with up-to-date information about schedules. There was also a task set to enhance explanatory work regarding the rules of operation of the city’s public transport.
The mayor's office emphasized that the implementation of digital technologies will increase the transparency of transportation and reduce the number of complaints from passengers.
