Igor Kudrenko has been appointed as the head coach of the Kyrgyzstan U-17 youth football team.

Kudrenko is a coach with solid experience, holding an AFC "A" license and a FIFA Coach Educator diploma. Previously, he worked for a long time in the coaching staff of the national team of Kyrgyzstan alongside Alexander Krestinin, which allowed him to make a significant contribution to the team's achievements on the international stage.

In 2017, he managed to lead the U-23 team to triumph at the international Tsunami Cup tournament. Additionally, Kudrenko held positions as technical and sports director in the Kyrgyz Football Union and worked with clubs such as "Dordoi" (Bishkek), "Bunyodkor", "Lokomotiv" (Tashkent), and "Bars" (Karakol), repeatedly becoming the champion of the Kyrgyz Premier League.

Kudrenko's appointment is seen as a key step towards forming a competitive generation of young footballers. Under his guidance, the U-17 team will begin preparations for the 2027 Asian Cup, with the qualifying round scheduled to take place from August 29 to September 6, 2026.
