Energy Minister Talaybek Ibraev announced the commissioning of the "T. Kulatov" substation with a voltage of 35/10 kilovolts, as well as a new power transmission line, located in the Nookat district of the Osh region. This information was provided by the press service of the Ministry of Energy.
According to the statement, the new facility will provide reliable electricity supply for 1,820 subscribers living in the villages of Abshyr, Kojo-Aryk, Kosh-Dobo, and Baglan. Previously, local residents were connected to the "Abshyr" feeder, which had a length of 55 kilometers, causing significant technical losses. The opening of the substation allowed for the unloading of the existing network and increased the reliability of the region's energy system.

Key project parameters:
Capacity: the substation is equipped with a transformer with a capacity of 2.5 megavolt-amperes.
Communication lines: an overhead line with a voltage of 35 kilovolts was built, stretching 5.6 kilometers, using self-supporting insulated wires (SIP).
Cost savings: according to the plan, the project cost was 25 million soms, but the actual expenses turned out to be lower — 15 million 415.73 thousand soms. The construction of the substation cost 8 million 218.45 thousand soms, while the line cost 7 million 197.28 thousand soms.
Talaybek Ibraev emphasized that the development of infrastructure in the regions is an important direction for providing the population with reliable electricity.
