A new substation has been put into operation in the Nookat district

Energy Minister Talaybek Ibraev officially opened the new 35/10 kV substation "T. Kulatov" and the 35 kV overhead power line "Abshir – T. Kulatov", located in the village of Kozho-Aryk of the Kulatov Ayil Okmotu in the Nookat district, managed by the Osh Electric Networks Enterprise.

As explained by the ministry, the main objective of this project is to provide electricity to 1820 out of 3626 subscribers connected to 97 transformer substations of the 10 kV "Abshir" feeder, which has a length of 55 kilometers and runs from the 110/35/10 kV substation "Kök-Jar". The new 35/10 kV substation "T. Kulatov" will play a key role in this process.

Additionally, the project aims to improve the quality and stability of electricity supply for residents of the villages of Abshir, Kozho-Aryk, Kosh-Dobo, and Baglan in the Kulatov Ayil Okmotu.

The 35/10 kV substations "Abshir" and 110/35/10 kV "Kok-Jar" will also be relieved of excess loads, which will help reduce technical losses. The 35 kV overhead line "T. Kulatov" with a length of 5.6 km was built using self-supporting insulated wires (SIP) and is connected to the 35 kV line "Kok-Jar - Abshir".

According to the plan, the cost of constructing the substation was 15 million soms, while the construction of the overhead line cost 10 million soms. As a result of the completed work, the substation was built for 8 million 218.45 thousand soms, and the overhead line for 7 million 197.28 thousand soms.

During the opening ceremony, the minister emphasized the importance of developing energy infrastructure in the regions, as this is one of the key factors for providing the population with quality and uninterrupted electricity. He stressed that the commissioning of new facilities significantly enhances the reliability of the energy system.

From a technical standpoint, the substation is equipped with a 2.5 MVA 35/10 kV transformer, a 35 kV circuit breaker, and 10 kV switchgear, as well as three 10 kV feeders directed towards Kosh-Dobo, Kozho-Aryk, and Baglan.

It is worth noting that the issue of constructing the 35/10 kV substation "T. Kulatov" was raised by local residents at the II People's Kurultai, and now the facility has been successfully put into operation.
