The Ministry of Culture, Information, and Youth Policy has announced the start of an open competition aimed at developing a logo and brand book dedicated to the 40th anniversary of the Issyk-Kul Forum named after Chyngyz Aitmatov.

According to the information from the department's press service, the winners will receive a prize fund of 50,000 soms.

Artists and designers registered as individual entrepreneurs and holding the appropriate certificates and patents can participate in the competition.

“The created logo should reflect the high goals and essence of the forum. The Issyk-Kul Forum represents an international intellectual platform that fosters dialogue between peoples and countries aimed at strengthening sustainable peace. It also supports multipolarity and a balanced approach to crucial decisions,” the statement notes.

In 1986, thinker and writer Chyngyz Aitmatov gathered the world’s intelligentsia on the shores of Issyk-Kul, thus laying the foundation for discussing global issues against the backdrop of the end of the "Cold War" between the USSR and the West.

The forum, which will take place this year, will continue the tradition of discussing issues of civilizational dialogue, peacebuilding, and new global challenges.

Applications for participation are accepted until January 31. More detailed information can be found on the ministry's website.
