
The environmental consequences of washing a carpet in the river were assessed as significant harm to nature.
A man in the Aksai district was fined for washing a carpet in a mountain river to draw attention to an advertising video. This was reported by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources.
According to the agency's information, the Osh regional office of the Environmental and Technical Supervision Service noticed a video on the internet in which a man spilled paint on a rug and then washed it in the river. This video sparked significant public interest and discussion.
During the investigation, it was revealed that the filming was conducted by a citizen with the initials B.U.B. for the purpose of promoting carpet products in the high-altitude pasture of Sary-Oy in the Aksai district.
As a result of the investigation, the man was fined 10,000 soms, in accordance with Article 236 of the Code of Offenses of the Kyrgyz Republic. He was also given an explanatory talk.
