India has suspended the export of meat and animals
In light of the Nipah virus threat, serious infection control measures have been implemented at Manas International Airport, as reported by the Kyrgyz Airports OJSC.
These measures are aimed at preventing the spread of infectious diseases and ensuring safety.
Special equipment has been installed at the airport that allows real-time measurement of passengers' body temperature. It was brought in 2021 and continues to be relevant in light of the current international situation.
Additionally, the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry of Kyrgyzstan has imposed temporary restrictions on the import of animals and products from India.
It should be noted that Kyrgyzstan's neighbors, Tajikistan and Kazakhstan, have also taken additional security measures in response to the virus threat.
