On January 29, Vice Mayor Victoria Mozgacheva and the head of the Culture Department, Urmat Belekbaev, visited the new rehearsal space.

"Now the rehearsal hall serves as an important creative venue for several municipal ensembles of Bishkek. Here, the large symphony orchestra, the wind orchestra, and the folk instruments orchestra practice," the municipal message notes.
The rehearsal schedule has been approved, allowing the orchestras to systematically develop their skills and prepare new concerts. Previously, musicians were forced to rent halls for rehearsals, but now they have been provided with comfortable conditions for work and cultural growth," the municipality added.

It is worth reminding that in 2023, the municipality planned to demolish the "Dubrovsky" building; however, the owner agreed to transfer it to municipal ownership. The valuation of the property amounted to 48.5 million soms.
As a result, according to the reached agreement, the municipality received not only the building itself, which covers about 500 square meters, but also a plot of land of 0.37 hectares that was previously leased. The authorities promised to provide the tenants with an alternative plot of land.
