The licensing period for passenger transportation has been extended
The Ministry of Internal Affairs reports the continuation of the licensing process for passenger transportation by cars in various regions of the country.
In response to numerous requests from citizens, the deadline for obtaining a license for passenger transportation has been postponed to July 1, 2026. However, the Ministry of Internal Affairs noted that as this deadline approaches, the number of applicants is decreasing. Therefore, licensing continues actively in all territorial divisions.
To obtain a license, a number of documents must be provided, including a passport, driver's license, vehicle registration certificate, and a receipt for the payment of the state fee of 500 soms. Additionally, seven more documents are required, three of which can be processed online through the mobile application "Tündük".
The following must be submitted electronically:
- certificate of registration with tax authorities;
- contract of mandatory passenger liability insurance;
- certificate of criminal record status.
- When applying in person, the following must also be provided:
- employment contract with a legal entity (carrier or fleet);
- power of attorney for vehicle management and/or lease agreement;
- act of passing the vehicle's technical inspection;
- medical certificate confirming the driver's health.
