In Bishkek and Chui Region, a Quran Recitation Contest Against Extremism Will Be Held

From February 10 to 11, a Quran recitation contest titled "Youth Against Extremism" will take place in Bishkek and the Chui region. This event is organized by the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Kyrgyzstan in collaboration with the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of the capital.

The main objective of the contest is to prevent extremism among youth, strengthen patriotism, and disseminate Islamic knowledge. The organizers aim to spark interest in the Quran and adherence to the rules of Tajweed.

The competitions will commence on February 10 at 10:00 AM, and the award ceremony for the winners will be held on February 11.

Registration for participants will be open until 12:00 PM on February 9. Young people aged up to 25 years can participate in the contest. Participants must wear a white kalpak and a white shirt.

Please note that reciters who have taken first and second places in republican and international contests cannot participate unless they have moved to a higher category.

The venue for the contest is Bishkek, Gogol Street, 55, at the central mosque named after Kimsanbay Azhy.
