According to the minister, a series of events aimed at greening is being implemented as part of the national initiative "Zhasyl Muras." In 2025, 8 million 233 thousand trees and shrubs were planted across the republic. In the capital, Bishkek, 18 thousand 755 seedlings were planted, which is 50% more compared to the previous year.
Additionally, 48 thousand deciduous and coniferous trees and shrubs were grown and planted in the city nursery, which will contribute to the sustainable development of the capital's green infrastructure in the future.
The minister also noted that the greening efforts will continue in the coming years.
