The panel of the Supreme Court of the Kyrgyz Republic has postponed the hearing in the case of Mahabat Tajibek kyzy to March 3. This information was published by human rights activist Gulshair Abdirasulova on social media.
"Today, there was supposed to be a hearing on the request of Mahabat Tajibek kyzy's defense to review her case in light of new circumstances related to the decision of the UN Working Group on Arbitrary Detentions," she wrote.
Nevertheless, the panel of the Supreme Court decided to postpone the hearing to March 3 at 11:15, which means that the trial has been postponed for another month," she added in her Facebook post.
Gulshair Abdirasulova noted that Mahabat's health has deteriorated over the past month, and her relatives are forced to bring her necessary medications every week.
"The lawyer reported that she requires more thorough examinations, including ultrasound and MRI. This raises serious concerns for me..." emphasized the human rights activist.
