Ministry of Construction: Currently, 668 facilities are being built in Kyrgyzstan

The Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture, and Housing and Communal Services Talantbek Imanakun uulu stated at a meeting of the committee of the Jogorku Kenesh that in 2025, 15.5 billion soms will be allocated from the republican budget for the construction of various facilities.

In 2024, it is planned to allocate 11.6 billion soms for these purposes.

According to the deputy minister, there are currently 668 construction projects underway in the country. In 2023, the construction of 291 facilities was completed, while 230 are expected to be completed in 2024. In 2025, the opening of 129 new schools is anticipated, with 100 planned for 2024. Additionally, last year, the construction of 60 kindergartens was completed, and 45 are planned for 2024.

Deputies are discussing with representatives of the Ministry of Construction issues related to the formation of prices for construction works and services, as well as the problems of rising prices in this sector.
