In 2025, at the checkpoints "Sosnovka" and "Kara-Kul," the total amount of cashless payments using QR codes reached 300 million 266 thousand 484 soms, which is an increase of 35.48 percent compared to the same period last year. This data was provided by the Ministry of Transport.

According to the agency, this year there has been a significant increase in the share of cashless transactions due to the modernization of the system and enhanced control. Currently, 98 percent of all payments are made cashless.

“This has reduced the impact of the human factor and lowered the risk of corruption. Additionally, the expansion of traffic lanes at the "Sosnovka" and "Kara-Kul" checkpoints has been successfully completed. New lanes have been constructed and put into operation in "Sosnovka," and in "Kara-Kul," work to increase capacity and ensure the roadway meets necessary technical standards was completed in 2025,” the statement notes.

“Servers and software of information systems are regularly updated, ensuring their stable and uninterrupted operation,” the Ministry of Transport adds.
