Currently, the possibility of introducing benefits for all children under three years of age is actively being considered in Kyrgyzstan. This was announced by Edil Baisalov, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, during a meeting of the Collegium of the Ministry of Labor, Social Security, and Migration.

According to the ministry's press service, Edil Baisalov emphasized that attention will be paid to the social protection of women with children, people with disabilities, and families in difficult life situations. This is particularly relevant for mothers and children living in remote, mountainous, and border regions.

Earlier, deputies proposed a draft law for discussion that expands social support. It suggests providing benefits to all families with children up to 12 years old, and in cases where the family is in need, up to 16 years old.

Later, Edil Baisalov stated that the government would not be able to provide benefits to all children without considering their families' income. Nevertheless, he assured that in the coming months, the government would take steps aimed at improving the situation with benefits.
