
Edil Baisalov shared information about various forms of social support for the population
At a recent meeting of the parliamentary groups of the Jogorku Kenesh, Deputy Prime Minister Edil Baisalov spoke about the social support measures in place in the country.
He emphasized that, in accordance with national legislation, six types of benefits are being implemented, which are received by about 300 thousand people on average each month.
The main forms of social assistance include:
- The "Balaga suyunchu" payment for a child — 4,000 soms;
- Monthly support for low-income families with children aged 2 to 16 years "Uiy-bulogo komok" — 1,200 soms;
- Social payment for citizens without a pension — 6,300 soms;
- Support for orphaned children — 6,000 soms monthly;
- Payments for residents of high-altitude areas for the third and subsequent children up to 3 years old — 3,000 soms for each;
- One-time payment "Bala Bereke" for mothers of many children in high-altitude areas — from 100 to 2 million soms depending on the number of children.
Baisalov also noted that in January 2026, payments were allocated for 16 thousand children with a total amount of funds allocated of 47 million soms.
