
The Deputy Managing Director of the European External Action Service for Eastern Europe and Central Asia, Audrone Perkauskiene, held meetings with the ambassadors of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan to discuss the implementation of previously reached agreements and future areas of cooperation.
Aspects of transport connectivity between the regions and the joint development of energy projects were also addressed. The diplomatic mission of Turkmenistan in Belgium shared information about the outcomes of these negotiations.
Participants in the meeting emphasized the preparation for the upcoming ministerial meetings and the expansion of the format of the "European Union - Central Asia" summits.
The European side confirmed the strategic importance of Central Asia and expressed its readiness to support long-term investments in the region's infrastructure. Diplomats noted the importance of stable dialogue between Brussels and the Central Asian states as a condition for economic stability in the Eurasian space.

As a result of the meeting, representatives of the European Union announced plans to increase technical and advisory support for the region, which should facilitate the integration of Central Asia into global manufacturing processes.
