The work is scheduled to be completed by the Nomad Games
The construction of a bypass road has begun in Cholpon-Ata, as reported by the Ministry of Transport and Communications.
This decision was made in connection with the upcoming VI World Nomad Games and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit, which will take place this year.
The road, designed for four lanes, will be 15.64 km long. The work is being carried out using parallel design. The project is funded from the state budget through the contracting organization China Road and Bridge Corporation.
