She demands an investigation into the detention of doctors in a corruption case
Public figure Oktay Erkayim addressed President Sadyr Japarov and the head of the State National Security Committee Kamchybek Tashiev in a video message she posted on social media.
In her address, the activist requested help regarding her grandmother's situation. Guardianship over her was transferred to doctors who were detained in connection with illegal medical conclusions and financial machinations involving property valued at around one million dollars.
It should be noted that in December 2025, six doctors from the Republican Center for Psychiatry and Narcology were detained by the State National Security Committee.
They were arrested on suspicion of organizing a corruption scheme involving forensic psychiatric experts who declared defendants in serious and especially serious criminal cases of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic as insane for a certain reward.
