It was reported that last year, one in ten traffic accidents resulted in the death of a child: in 2025, 2217 accidents were recorded, in which 121 minors lost their lives.
Furthermore, 2569 children and adolescents were injured to varying degrees.
“This is not just statistics; these are lives and shattered families,” emphasized the forum participants, calling for increased oversight from law enforcement and the creation of “safe zones” near schools and residential areas.
