
Artem Novikov, head of the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund, visited the hydropower plant and familiarized himself with its operations.
In four months of operation, the small hydropower plant 'Ysyk-Ata-2' produced over 14 million kWh of electricity. This information became known after the visit of Artem Novikov, the head of the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund, to the hydropower plant.
This hydropower plant was built with the financial support of the fund, and its official opening took place on August 31 of last year with the participation of President Sadyr Japarov.
The Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund invested 409 thousand US dollars in this project.
The generated electricity is supplied to consumers in the Ysyk-Ata district and surrounding areas.
