At a government meeting, the Minister of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development of Kazakhstan, Zhaslan Madiyev, announced the country's plans to provide internet access to neighboring states. The foundation of these initiatives will be the Starlink satellite network, located on the territory of Kazakhstan.

This year, the republic intends to start transferring internet traffic to Tajikistan, and in the future, there are plans to expand services to Mongolia and Kyrgyzstan through Starlink gateway stations that will be built in Kazakhstan. This will allow the signal to be transmitted beyond the country's borders and strengthen Kazakhstan's position as a leader in digital connectivity in the region.

Internal digitalization processes are also actively continuing: 1,900 villages in Kazakhstan will gain access to fiber optics this year, and by next year, coverage will exceed 90 percent. Additionally, the entire network of republican highways will be connected to the internet.

It is worth noting that recently it was announced that high-speed internet services from Starlink have been launched throughout Tajikistan.
