Japan has transferred 43 units of road machinery to Kyrgyzstan for the Batken region

The region has also opened an asphalt concrete plant capable of processing 35 tons of materials per hour.



According to the Ministry of Transport and Communications, a ceremony was held in the Batken region where the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) transferred 43 units of specialized equipment for road construction and maintenance.


High-ranking officials such as the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Japan, Hirano Ryuichi, the permanent representative of JICA, Nishigato Kotaro, the First Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications, Beknazar Bazaraliev, and the presidential representative in the Batken region, Aibek Shamenov, as well as local officials, participated in this event.


In addition, Japan has opened an asphalt concrete plant in the Batken district, which has a production capacity of 35 tons per hour.


According to the ministry's statement, "the opening of the plant will ensure timely supply of materials for the construction and repair of roads, and the new equipment will significantly accelerate the work on their maintenance and upkeep."
