
From February 13 to 15, Sweden will host the international women's wrestling tournament Klippen Lady Open, featuring three athletes from Kyrgyzstan. This event will attract the strongest young wrestlers from around the world.
Representing the country on the mats in Sweden will be Asel Toktosun kyzy in the 49 kg weight category, Aydemi Asangazieva in the 53 kg weight class, and Ayana Asamalikova, competing in the 68 kg category. The team will be mentored by the senior coach of the U-17 national team, Nursultan Askarbekov.
The Klippen Lady Open tournament has established itself as an important platform for assessing the potential of young female athletes. Participation in these competitions will provide Kyrgyzstani wrestlers with the opportunity not only to compete for medals but also to prepare for upcoming continental championships. Coaches view this tournament as a great opportunity for the athletes to gain experience in matches against representatives of European and world wrestling schools.
