Local residents are wondering: is it really worth spending funds on new cars instead of repairing the hospital?
A recent visit by deputies to the hospital in the Moscow district of the Chui region caused shock. Witnesses of the event noted that some of the parliamentarians could not hold back their emotions upon seeing the deplorable condition of the medical facility.
The hospital building is old, the walls and wards require serious repairs, and the medical equipment is outdated. Despite this, the hospital continues to operate, and doctors continue to work, as there is no alternative medical facility nearby.
