The candidates were presented by the representative of the president and the cabinet of ministers, Bektur Zulpiev:
- Talantbek Soltobaev for the position of Minister of Transport;
- Akyil Toktobaev for the position of Minister of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision;
- Urmatbek Shamyrkanov for the position of Minister of Emergency Situations.
It is worth noting that the day before, on February 18, the president dismissed from their positions the head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Boobek Azhikeev, the Minister of Natural Resources, Meder Mashiev, and the Minister of Transport, Absattar Syrgabaev, who were close to Kamchybek Tashiev.
