"She had dreams and plans"
Roza Amuralieva, Aigul's mother, refuses to accept the version of suicide. She recalls that the day before the tragedy, her daughter came to Tokmok to celebrate the holidays with the family. Aigul was full of energy and optimism."She had many plans. She dreamed of going to work in Belarus. I can't believe she could hurt herself," Roza says.

On December 31, 2025, Aigul worked at the 3rd Children's Hospital in Bishkek and at the Emergency Medicine Center. The day before the New Year, she called her mother to congratulate her, mentioning a large number of patients and a lack of time to talk.
The next morning, January 1, around noon, she contacted her mother again and reported that she was finishing her shift and heading home. Aigul lived in the "Tunguch" microdistrict, near the "Ayu Grand" shopping center, and planned to meet her friends on January 3.
Harassment from a former partner
Roza reported that on December 30, when Aigul was with her, she received frequent calls and was rejecting them. When her mother asked if her ex-boyfriend was stalking her, Aigul confirmed but assured that she could handle the situation herself. "I urged her to go to the police, but she insisted that she was an adult and could manage," Roza shared.Unfortunately, on January 1, Aigul passed away.

Unclear circumstances
Roza learned of her daughter's death at night. When she arrived, the apartment was locked, and police officers were inside. "There were his friends there, but I can't assert that. My daughter had already been taken away, and relatives who arrived earlier were not allowed in. They were cleaning up things and dishes, and no one was invited," Roza shares.The investigation claims that Aigul hanged herself with a hairdryer cord attached to a radiator in the bathroom, but her relatives doubt this. "Why was he there and didn't help? The doors weren't broken if she really locked herself in," the mother questions.

Roza also noted that a groove was found on her daughter's body, which she doubts. "If she had hanged herself, the groove should have been higher. She was quite large and tall, so even on her knees, it would have been difficult for her to do that. I don't understand how this could have happened. I hope for justice," she added.
Legal position
The family's interests are represented by lawyer Indira Sautova, who points out many unresolved questions."The examination states that the cause of death was asphyxia. But how could this happen? Could she have hanged herself on a radiator that is about a meter high? It's also strange that Aigul's and her former partner's phones were formatted, and all messages were deleted. Why was this done if it was a suicide?" Sautova notes.

"Not all witnesses have been interviewed yet, and we do not know many circumstances.
There are bruises and abrasions on Aigul's body that do not correspond to the time of her death. Some of them could have appeared 5-7 days before the tragedy. We have many questions for which we are waiting for answers," the lawyer concludes.
The family demands justice
Aigul's parents claim that they have still not received clear explanations regarding the case and intend to seek further investigation."For me, the main thing is to get an answer. We need this, no matter how it sounds," emphasizes Roza Amuralieva.
