In his address, the mufti congratulated Muslims, the Kyrgyz people, and all individuals on the beginning of this holy month.
He emphasized that fasting serves as a constant reminder of the Almighty Allah, awakening a sense of responsibility. Fasting purifies the soul, adorns a person's inner world, humbles them, encourages goodness, and strengthens piety.
“During fasting, a Muslim protects their eyes from the forbidden, their ears from the unlawful, and their tongue from lies. They guard themselves against prohibited food and bad deeds, understanding that Allah sees and knows everything,” he stated.
Furthermore, Abdulaziz Zakirov reminded of the hadith of the Prophet Muhammad, which states that for those who fast with sincere faith during Ramadan, perform night prayers, and spend the Night of Decree in worship, their previous sins are forgiven.
In conclusion of his address, the head of the Spiritual Administration wished all believers that their fast be accepted.
