The Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for Moscow summarized the year 2025 in the field of combating violations of migration legislation. As a result of the activities of the capital's police, over 82 thousand offenses related to migration were identified.

In addition, about 9 thousand cases pertained to violations of labor activity rules for migrants, and more than 6 thousand facts were related to the illegal employment of foreigners in Russia.

As part of preventive measures aimed at strengthening law and order in the migration sphere, police conducted over 11 thousand inspections in public places such as shopping centers, restaurants, hostels, and construction sites. As a result, decisions were made to deport more than 26 thousand individuals, of whom about 18 thousand were placed in a temporary detention center, and 646 migrants were deported.

Also, during comprehensive work, 382 individuals who were wanted for various crimes, including serious ones, were identified. A total of 151 foreign citizens were found to have altered their entry data, as they had previously been banned from entering the country due to offenses.

With the enactment of new provisions of the Law "On Citizenship of the Russian Federation," a mechanism for the termination of citizenship was also implemented. As a result, 51 individuals lost their Russian citizenship, of which 23 cases were related to serious crimes such as murder, kidnapping, sexual violence, illegal drug trafficking, and threats to national security.
