Specialists from the agency conducted veterinary control of the birds at the checkpoint at Krasnoyarsk International Airport. Currently, the parrots are housed in a special facility where diagnostic studies and preventive measures will be carried out.
It should be noted that the budgerigars, lovebirds, and cockatiels delivered to Krasnoyarsk are intended for an individual entrepreneur engaged in their breeding and maintenance.
Last year, 14,365 decorative birds, mostly parrots, were imported from Kyrgyzstan to Krasnoyarsk.
