The mayor emphasized the need for the prompt resumption of road construction on this street and the completion of asphalt laying according to the previously approved schedule.
In addition, the mayor instructed the relevant services to continue the implementation of already initiated major projects in the city, as well as to resolve legal issues related to objects that hinder road construction, expand sidewalks, and create safe conditions for pedestrians.
“I was appointed mayor a week ago and have come here every day, observing that construction work is practically not progressing. This situation cannot be ignored. All initiated projects that are not funded must be continued and completed, even if we have to do it ourselves. This project will help reduce traffic jams, and drivers will be able to directly access Amir-Temir Street. Work must be carried out sequentially, but it has already begun. No major projects launched in Osh should be halted. We are obligated to complete the work that has started; we cannot leave it in this state,” he noted.
