At OshSU, the Russian Language Week took place, culminating in a festive summary of the results. First-year students from all faculties of the university participated in this educational marathon.
The program of the event was diverse and included various formats, from classic olympiads to creative competitions. Over five days, students not only tested their language knowledge but also showcased their artistry through theatrical performances and recitations of works by famous authors.
The celebration concluded with the final of the olympiad, in which eight of the best students competed. Participants tackled tasks related to grammar, syntax, and etymology. In addition to deep theoretical knowledge, the finalists demonstrated their understanding of culture by discussing traditional Russian items and conducting virtual tours of famous cities and landmarks in Russia.
The presence of the honored guest, the head of the Russian House in Osh, Dmitry Avram, added a special status to the event. He chaired the jury and highly praised the students' preparation, noting their deep interest not only in the language but also in Russia's cultural heritage and geography.
Vivid performances left a lasting impression on participants during the ceremonial part: winners of the creative competitions read literary works and performed popular songs. The finale featured a theatrical rendition of the fairy tale "Morozko," which made a significant impact on the audience.
The event concluded with an awards ceremony. The winners of the olympiad received diplomas and commemorative gifts, while all other participants were awarded certificates confirming their achievements in studying the Russian language.
