The president noted that the rule of law has been restored in the country
At a republican meeting, President Sadyr Japarov reported that over 300 members of organized criminal groups have been brought to justice.
According to him, as a result of these efforts, the state managed to recover more than 38 billion soms as compensation for damages.
"We not only destroyed individual criminal elements but also dismantled an entire system that had supported shadow influence for decades. Now the state has restored the rule of law," he noted.
In addition, the president emphasized that the Ministry of Internal Affairs has undergone significant digital transformation, during which modern surveillance systems were installed across the country, ensuring round-the-clock monitoring.
These changes have contributed to a 73 percent reduction in registered crimes, and in areas with installed cameras, the number of serious offenses decreased by 68 percent.
